What it says

Online compiled genealogy. Gives Jane Powyes’s parents as William Powyes (b. c. 1568) and Elizabeth.

For the Peck family (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr01/rr01_452.html): says Joseph Peck (bp. 1587) married second a sister of Thomas Cooper. Joseph’s will names “my brother Thomas Cooper” as a supervisor, which fits; the wife’s own name is not given.

For the Rider family (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr03/rr03_157.html): citing Roser, Mayflower Increasings (1995), has Samuel Rider Jr. baptised at All Saints (All Hallows), Northampton, 25 Nov 1632, son of Samuel Rider and Anne Gamlett. Not verified against the register.

For the Ellis, Churchill and Nye families: Elizabeth (Churchill) Ellis and her children (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr06/rr06_331.html); Katherine (Tupper) Nye (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr03/rr03_188.html), where the death date given for her, 4 June 1676, is her mother Anne Tupper’s. Its Ellis entries summarise Brownson and McLean (NEHGR 119-120).

For the Lamb family (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr02/rr02_222.html): Thomas Lamb of Roxbury and his wives. Quotes the Roxbury church record of Dorothy Harbittle as “a godly maid, a sister of our church.” Gives Caleb Lamb’s death as “30 Jun 1690,” which looks like a confusion with his wedding day, 30 June 1669.

For the Foster and Bigg families (https://mathcs.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr01/rr01_089.html, rr01_090.html and rr01_261.html): citing Bisbee (1956), Richard Foster born about 1585 at Biddenden, son of Thomas Foster and Dorothy Austin, who married at Biddenden on 20 Jan 1579/80 (Dorothy married (2) John Besbedge there, 31 Oct 1586); John Bigge, clothier of Cranbrook, who married Rachel Martin at Tenterden on 14 Sept 1583 and was buried at Cranbrook on 13 Aug 1605, with children Smallhope (bp. 1585), Patience (bp. 5 May 1588, Cranbrook), Elizabeth (bp. 1590) and John (bp. 1602); and Rachel Martin, bp. Lydd 17 June 1565, daughter of James Martin and Joan Adam, d. Dorchester 30 June 1647. It gives Patience a death on 18 Mar 1637 at Dorchester, which her brothers’ wills of 1638 and 1641/2, naming her as living, contradict.
