Notes

Given by the Pane-Joyce genealogy as the father of Jane Powyes, who married Thomas Holbrook at Glastonbury in 1616. No record of him has been seen; the Glastonbury register index has only Jane’s marriage, and a search of the Somerset Heritage Centre catalogue for Powys wills found nothing.
