Clothier, of Cranbrook (Pane-Joyce; Waters, Gleanings 1). His children include Smallhope (bp. 1585), Patience (bp. 1588), Elizabeth (bp. 1590) and John (bp. 1602) (Pane-Joyce). Smallhope and John grew rich as clothiers; their wills of 1638 and 1641/2 left large sums to the family in New England (Waters, Gleanings 1:21-23).
