Daughter of Israel Ellingwood and Susanna (Rand), one of his four heirs in 1785. She married John Pulling on 3 January 1771, by Rev. Mather Byles (record). He was not Capt. John Pulling Jr. of the Old North lanterns, who was then married to Annis Lee (died 11 Aug 1771); who he was is unknown. A widow Sarah Pulling lived on Cross Street in 1789 and 1798; whether she is this Sarah is open.
