Mary Warren
Eldest daughter of Richard Warren and his wife Elizabeth, probably born in England about 1610; she came with her mother and sisters on the Anne in 1623. She married Robert Bartlett, probably about 1629, was widowed in 1676 and died at Plymouth in 1683. Probably the mother of Rebecca (Bartlett) Harlow and Sarah (Bartlett) Rider.

From her age at death and the April 1610 marriage of her parents. Mollie's "born 1606" is Banks's 1929 estimate and conflicts with both.
- c. 1629Married Robert BartlettPlymouth, Plymouth Colony
After 22 May 1627, when both were in different lots of the cattle division, and probably about 1629 from the ages of their children. Mollie has 1628.

Named in her grandfather Augustine Walker's will (1613) among "her three Children Marey, Ann and Sarey" of Elizabeth, wife of Richard Warren; in the 1627 cattle division with her parents; and in her mother's purchaser order of 1636/7, which names Robert Bartlett among the "sonnes in law."

- Elizabeth Walker
Her mother was Elizabeth Warren, Richard's widow (PCR 1:54). That Elizabeth was Elizabeth Walker of Great Amwell rests on Davies's identification (TAG 78, 2003), now the accepted one.

Notes
Eldest daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Walker) Warren. Where she was born is not recorded; her parents had married at Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, in 1610, and her father was “of London” by 1620. She came with her mother and sisters on the Anne in 1623, and in the 1627 cattle division was in the ninth lot, her father’s, with her parents, brothers and sisters (PCR 12:12). She married Robert Bartlett after May 1627, probably about 1629. Her mother’s deed of gift to John Cooke calls the Eel River land “Robert Bartletts lott formerly also giuen the said Robert in Marriage wth Mary another of the said Mrs Warrens daughters” (PCR 12:27), the plainest record of the marriage. In 1652 Robert successfully petitioned against persons who “pretend themselues to bee the sole and right heires” of that land (PCR 3:19-20).
A widow from 1676. On 4 Mar 1673/4 “Mary Bartlett, the wife of Robert Bartlett … owned that shee hath receiued full satisfaction for whatsoeuer shee might claime as due from the estate of Mistris Elizabeth Warren,” and “John Cooke, in the behalfe of all her sisters, testifyed the same” (PCR 5:139-40).
The family descends from her twice, through her daughters Rebecca (Harlow) and Sarah (Rider). A full-sequence mtDNA tester descending from her through Rebecca (Bartlett) Harlow carries her mother’s haplogroup, H1j10a (Mayflower DNA wiki) [compiled].

Mollie's typescript
Following Banks, Mollie imagines that Mary Warren met Robert Bartlett in London and that their romance grew after both came over in the Anne in 1623, she with her mother and sisters.
They both came to Plymouth in the Anne in 1623 -- Mary and her mother and sisters -- and probably had time and opportunity to form the ties that bound them in after life.

Checked against the records
- DisprovenMary Warren was born in England in 1606
About 1610, not 1606: she died 27 Mar 1683 "in her 73d yeare". 1606 is Banks's 1929 guess, and falls before the 1610 marriage now accepted as her parents'. The list also leaves out a fifth daughter, Elizabeth, who married Richard Church, and Sarah's marriage to John Cooke Jr. is given as 28 Mar 1634, not 1636.
Read it in the book, p. 30 → - PossibleMary Warren's daughters Rebecca and Sarah married Harlow and Rider
Probable. That Rebecca (m. William Harlow 1649) and Sarah (m. Samuel Rider 1656) were daughters of Robert Bartlett and Mary Warren is standard in the Warren genealogies, but no record cited names their parents. If so, the family descends from Mary twice: Phebe Harlow's parents, William Harlow and Mercy Rider, were second cousins.
Read it in the book, p. 30 → - UnlikelyRobert Bartlett met Mary Warren in London, beginning their romance
Banks (1929) placed Bartlett in Aldgate only because he married Mary Warren; no record puts either of them there. Mary was born about 1610, so she was about thirteen when she came on the Anne in 1623. They married after May 1627, probably about 1629.
