Antje Van Weyen

Also Altje Van Weyen · Annetie van Weyen · Antje Freer

Wife of Jacob Freer of New Paltz, New York, whom she married in September 1705, in one of the few early marriages between the patentees' children and the Dutch. Of their eleven children, born between 1706 and 1729, the eldest was probably Jannetje (Freer) Deyo. Her own parents and birth are not established.

Notes

Mother of Jannetje (Freer) Deyo. She married Jacob Freer of New Paltz in September 1705 and had eleven children between 1706 and 1729 (source). WikiTree quotes a Kingston baptism of 1686 of an Annetie van Weyen whose mother was Annetie Gerritz; that she is this Antje, and any line through her mother to the Hooglands, Bergens and Rapaljes, is not established.
