Notes
Daughter of Jonathan Brewster and Lucretia Oldham, and granddaughter of Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower. Born at Jones River in Plymouth Colony in 1631, she moved with her family to Duxbury and, about 1649, to New London. In March 1651 she married John Pickett, a New London merchant who died at sea in 1667, and in July 1668 Charles Hill, the town’s recorder. She died at New London on 1 May 1677 (source).
By Pickett she had Mary, Ruth (wife of Rev. Moses Noyes of Lyme), John, Adam, Mercy and William; by Hill, Jane, Charles, Ruth and Jonathan. Her aunt Patience Brewster was the first wife of Gov. Thomas Prence.
