- note
- Her husband was Jonathan's son-in-law: in 1658 Jonathan conveyed his property to "his son, Benjamin Brewster, and his son-in-law, John Picket," and in 1661/2 Pickett stipulated that "my mother-in-law, Mrs. Brewster, the late wife of my father, Mr. Jonathan Brewster," be provided for (New London records, as quoted in the Brewster genealogy, p. 13). The genealogy gives her birth from the Brewster Book, Jonathan's own register of his family.
