Ruth Pickett
Wife of Rev. Moses Noyes, the first minister of Lyme, Connecticut, and probably a daughter of John Pickett, the New London merchant lost at sea in 1667, and Ruth Brewster. She had five children, among them Sarah, wife of Capt. Timothy Mather, through whom Pickett became a Christian name among the Marvins. She died in 1690, aged 36, and is buried at Old Lyme.

Notes
Wife of Rev. Moses Noyes, the first minister of Lyme, and daughter of John Pickett, the New London merchant who died at sea in 1667, and Ruth Brewster, a granddaughter of Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower (source). She was about thirteen when her father was lost, and her mother remarried a year later. She died on 14 Sept 1690, aged 36, and her gravestone is at Old Lyme.
Her children were Moses (1678), John, Ruth, Sarah (1683) and Naomi. Through Sarah, who married Capt. Timothy Mather, her surname became a Christian name among the Marvins: Capt. Elisha Marvin’s eldest son was Pickett (1739/40), and so was his grandson Pickett Marvin (1768), who went to Ohio.
