Sarah Ann Philbrick
Wife of Ralph Hatten, whom she married in Jackson County, Ohio, in 1847, and probably the mother of Thomas J. Hatten, who married Sarah Edith Allee. Probably a daughter of Benjamin Philbrick and Ruth Marvin, she went with her husband to Minnesota, near her mother. As the Ancestry tree has it, she was born in Ohio in 1831 and died at Northfield, Rice County, Minnesota, in 1882.

Notes
Married Ralph Hatten in Jackson County, Ohio, on 1 July 1847 (source), and went with him to Minnesota, where her mother, Ruth Cheeseman, was living by 1857. A probable elder sister, Parmelie (Philbrick) Radcliff Howell, born in Ohio in 1820, lived at Green Vale, Dakota County, and told of “being obliged to travel five hundred miles by ox team” (Neill, History of Dakota County, 1881, p. 391).
