Joanna Wheeler
Born at Concord, Massachusetts, in 1671, probably the daughter of John Wheeler and Sarah Larkin. She married William Woodbury at Beverly in 1689 and bore him nine children between 1690 and 1713, probably among them Sarah (Woodbury) Ellingwood. Widowed in 1725, she died at Beverly in 1748, aged 76.

Her marriage calls her "of Concord," and the Concord births have one Joanna Wheeler of the right age, daughter of John and Sarah. The Wheeler genealogy (1914) has that Joanna "d. young," without a source; the Beverly records contradict it. John Wheeler's probate (Middlesex, 1713) would settle it.

Mother of Sarah (Woodbury) Ellingwood. Born at Concord, the daughter of John Wheeler and Sarah (Larkin); she was very probably named for her grandmother Joanna Larkin. She married William Woodbury at Beverly on 29 Sept 1689, recorded as “Joanna Wheler of Concord” (record), and bore him nine children between 1690 and 1713. She was widowed in 1725 and died at Beverly on 7 Apr 1748, aged 76.
She is not of the Salisbury Wheelers already in this archive: Henry Wheeler and Abigail Allen had no Joanna among their twelve children (source).
