Notes

A passenger on the Mayflower in 1620, one of the two children who came with her father Stephen Hopkins, with her brother Giles and her stepmother Elizabeth; Bradford lists “Giles, and Constanta, a doughter, both by a former wife” (source). She married Nicholas Snow and lived at Eastham, and about 1651 Bradford wrote that she “is also maried, and hath 12. children, all of them living, and one of them maried.” Her husband died in November 1676, leaving her his stock and movables “for the Comfort and support of her life,” and she administered his estate with her sons Mark and John; she died about the middle of October 1677 (record).

Through her daughter Ruth, who married John Cole, she is an ancestor of Hope (Holdershaw) Ellingwood (probable).
