Nicholas Snow

Of Eastham, husband of Constance Hopkins and, as the compilers have it, father of Ruth (Snow) Cole. He made his will on 14 Nov 1676, “being weake and Infeirme of body but of prfect Memory and understanding, not knowing the Day of my Departure but yett Dayly expecting my last Change,” and died the next day. He left his lands at Namskeket, Satucket, Pochet, Paomet and Billingsgate to his sons Mark, Joseph, Stephen, John and Jabez; to “my Loveing wife Constant Snow all my stocke of Cattle sheep horses swine whatsoever … for the Comfort and support of her life,” and after her death to be “equally Devided amongst all my Children”; and ten shillings to the church of Eastham “for the furniture of the Table of the Lord” (record). Constance and their sons Mark and John administered. Bradford counted twelve children of the marriage, all living, about 1651.
