Notes

Mother of Susanna (Cheever) Rand. The daughter of Humphrey and Mary Milam of Boston, if the usual identification is right; she married Richard Cheever, cordwainer, on 7 Oct 1680 and bore him eleven children between 1681 and 1702. She administered his estate in 1709 and lived a widow twenty-four years more, dying at Boston on 21 Jan 1732/3 “in the 73 year of her age,” as her son wrote in the family Bible (source).
