Sarah Underhill
Wife of George Frost (1760), whom she married at the Creek Meeting House in Dutchess County, New York, in 1781, and probably the mother of George Frost (1791). The daughter of Thomas Underhill of Purchase and Nine Partners and probably of Mercy Dickinson; a descent through him from Capt. John Underhill, the soldier of the Pequot War, and Elizabeth Feake is possible only.

"498 Sarah, born 6, 4, 1761," among Thomas Underhill's children "as taken from the Friends' Records of Purchase, N. Y." (Underhill Genealogy 2:138). After 1752 the Quaker 4th month is April, so 6 April 1761; the Frost Genealogy's 6 May 1761 is not supported.

Thomas Underhill's will of the 15th of the 10th month 1800 names "daughters Sarah, Easter, Mary, Elizabeth," and her sister Deborah's will of 1801 names "sisters, Sarah Frost, Esther Cornell, Mary Halsted and Elizabeth Titus" (abstracts in the Underhill Genealogy 2:138-139). His descent, through Benjamin and David Underhill, from Capt. John Underhill and Elizabeth Feake is only possible: the step from Benjamin to David is the compilers' guess.

Notes
Wife of George Frost (1760), married at the Creek Meeting House in 1781. She was the daughter of Thomas Underhill of Purchase and Nine Partners and Mercy Dickinson, and a granddaughter of Benjamin Underhill and Hannah Townsend (source, 2:138).
Captain Underhill only possible. The Underhill Genealogy makes her a descendant of Capt. John Underhill, the soldier of the Pequot War, and Elizabeth Feake, through Benjamin Underhill’s father David. But the book’s own evidence for David as Benjamin’s father is that Benjamin held land near David’s son Peter and was not among “the descendants of John”: “Our knowledge of names of David Underhill’s children is alike, indirect and fragmentary” (2:77-78). That descent is therefore possible only. Her children descend from Robert Feake and Elizabeth Fones in any case, through the Frosts; if the Underhill line holds, she and George Frost were third cousins once removed through them.
