Zebulon Dickinson
Quaker of North Castle, Westchester County, New York, among the Friends of the Purchase Meeting by the 1760s, who had married Joyce Hance at Shrewsbury, New Jersey, in 1733. The Purchase records name him as the father of Hannah, wife of John Hallock, and Deborah, wife of John Underhill. Probably the father of Mercy (Dickinson) Underhill, wife of Thomas Underhill.

"Her father and mother were married in Shrewsbury, N. J., March 5, 1733 (Stillwell's N. J. Miscellany, Vol. 1, p. 273)" (Underhill Genealogy 2:139). Whether this is 1732/3 or 1733/4 in the modern count is not stated.

Father of Mercy (Dickinson) Underhill, and so great-grandfather of Sarah (Underhill) Frost. He married Joyce Hance at Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey, in 1733, and by the 1760s the family was at North Castle in Westchester County, New York, among the Friends of the Purchase Meeting (source, 2:139).
The Purchase records name him as the father of two of his daughters: on the 17th of the 5th month 1764 “John Hallock, of Courtland’s Manor, Westchester county, and Hannah Dickeyson, of North Castle, daughter of Zebulon,” and on the 19th of the 12th month 1771 “John Underhill, of New Castle, son of Benjamin, and Deborah Dickenson, of same place, d[aughter] of Zebulon” (source). The Underhill Genealogy gives his known children as Mercy (1733), who married Thomas Underhill; Zebediah, who married Elizabeth Powell in 1775; Hannah; and Deborah (2:139).
