George Frost
Of Rensselaerville, Albany County, New York, where he was living with his brother Daniel in 1850; he evidently followed his son Stephen George Frost west after that and probably died at Heart Prairie, Walworth County, Wisconsin, in 1860. He probably married Abigail Tanner in 1824; she had two Showerman sons by an earlier marriage. Probably a son of George Frost and Sarah Underhill.

Notes
Of Rensselaerville, New York, then Heart Prairie, Wisconsin. In Josephine Frost’s Frost Genealogy (source). His wife Abigail had two Showerman sons by an earlier marriage, Aaron (b. 1820) and Henry (b. 1821). Their children, as the tree has them: Phebe Ann (1824-1908), Stephen George (1826-1919), William Tanner (b. 1830) and Sarah Diana (d. 1878).
In 1850 he was living at Rensselaerville with his brother Daniel, aged 59; he evidently followed his son Stephen west after that and died at Heart Prairie in 1860. A biography of his nephew Joseph G. Frost of Poughkeepsie says that of his father George’s six sons “one located near Madison, Wis.”: this George. William Tanner Frost “enlisted in war” and returned to Cobleskill.
