Notes
Of Wellfleet. He and his brother Elisha married two daughters of Daniel Mayo Sr. of Eastham, whose will (1754) names “Martha the wife of Ezekiel Holbrook.” The Eastham record reads: “Ezekel holbrooks and martha mayo boath of Eastham ware marrid in Eastham by Mr Isaiah Lues minestar in octobar 10 : 1751.” Their children are recorded there: Sarah 1752, Mercy 1753, Martha 1757 and Samuel 1759. Martha died 7 June 1775.
In 1765 he was one of the men who set off the widow’s thirds in the estate of Thomas Holbrook late of Eastham, probably his brother.
