Family 29/29: Mary Collings, 46, F, M (mulatto), born Va., cannot read or write; Matilda, 20 (born Indiana); Reuben, 16, farmer (Indiana); Lloyd (Loya?), 14 (Indiana); Calaska, 12, entered as F (Kalaska was a son) (Illinois); Spencer, 10 (Missouri). All marked mulatto. No real or personal estate is listed.
The research also places the households of Benjamin Reed (about ten people: with William H., Lucille, Sarah J., Dialpha, Frank, Reston, Daniel and Melissa) and Tilford Reed (with Jane, Harmon, Emily, Alexander, Martha, Elizabeth and Rachel), both counted white, in Wells Township in 1850; their pages and ages are not given.
