Notes
“12 years old” in 1895. Sponsor of the church’s Oak Leaf Circle.
Married A. A. Cother and lived at Austin, Texas; she died at Chicago in November 1918, aged 35, which is why her father’s death notice of 1920 names only five children (record).
Her death certificate, as “Lucy A. Cother”, names her father, Finley Ellingwood, M.D., who gave the particulars (record). In January 1920 her daughter, Jennie Harriet Cother, 10, born in Illinois, was living with her grandparents at Evanston; the census gives the child’s father’s birthplace as the Isle of St Helena [?] (record).
