Notes

Sister of Jane (Robson) Pattullo. She and her husband, William Foster, lie at the Melville White Church, Caledon, where Jane’s husband’s parents, Alexander Pattullo and Jean Watson, are buried. Their red granite stone, shared with their son and his wife, reads “William Foster, 1808-1880; his wife, Euphemia Robson, 1803-18[89?]; Thomas R. Foster, 184[5?]-192[?]; his wife, Catharine MacDonald …” (source). Their children included Jane Clark Foster, Mrs. McLaren (1836-1875), Lucinda (1838-1843) and Thomas R. Foster. The names match her sister’s: Jane (Robson) Pattullo also named children Jane, Thomas Robson and Lucinda.
