Second wife of Josiah Converse, whom she married at Leicester, Massachusetts, in 1732, and probably the mother of Col. Israel Converse among their thirteen children, most born at Stafford, Connecticut, including triplets in 1752. Born at Woburn about 1714, probably a daughter of Nathaniel Richardson and Abigail Reed, she was widowed in 1775 and died at Stafford in 1785.

Mother of Col. Israel Converse. A daughter of Nathaniel Richardson of Woburn, who moved to the new town of Leicester and died there in 1728, she was born about 1714 and married Josiah Converse at Leicester in December 1732, as his second wife (source). Their first two daughters were born at Leicester, the rest of their thirteen children at Stafford, Connecticut, where the town records list them as “the chi. of Josiah and Eleanor Converse” (source). She bore triplets there on 22 Apr 1752, when she was nearly forty, and her last child, Joseph, in December 1754. She was widowed in 1775 and died at Stafford on 6 Aug 1785 (source).
