Reed and Collins entries read by the user, September 2026:
- Jesse Collins and Mary Reed (Reid), 13 Dec 1827. Beside Mary's name a later note reads "[two short words] of James," with JAMES in block capitals beneath: the clerk's cross-reference to James Read's consent note.
- Stephen Reed and Nancy Powell, 13 Dec 1827, the same day.
- Hiram Collins and Elizabeth Reed: first license 1 Dec 1828, never returned as solemnized; second license 1 Aug 1829; married 8 Dec 1829.
- Martha "Patsey" Reed and James Hollinsworth, 1822.
- Randolph Reed and Rhodey Hollinsworth, 1825.
- Richard Reed and Kelsey (Kesiah?) Collins, license Jan 1827, not returned as solemnized. Richard Reed also took a license in 1823 that was not returned.
- William Reed and Lydia Langdon, 1830.
- James Reed and Polly Silver, 1839 (no month recorded).
- John Reed, a license in 1819 not returned as solemnized; Willis Reed, 1849, likewise.
- Abraham Collins and Christina Poulston (Poutston), 6 Apr 1828; Bradley Collins's marriages of 1831, 1833 and 1836; Andrew Collins and Betsy Ann Sizemore, 31 Mar 1838; William Collins and Sytha Powell, 26 Jan 1832; James Collins and Martha Ann Cotton, Jul 1839.
Unsolemnized licenses are common in this register; some reflect certificates never returned. The register's rightmost column, FILE NO., points to the loose marriage files (bond, license, consent). The S section is lost before 1864.
