What it says
Known in the research files only through search snippets; the full entries are still wanted. Gray identifies Richard Ellingwood of Frankfort with the son of Richard and Sarah of Boston, from the Suffolk guardianships; cites a family Bible owned in 1929 by Elliott Lee Ellingwood of Pasadena (Dr. Finley’s son) recording Richard Ellingwood born 2 Feb 1790, died 25 Mar 1864, married 1809 Hannah Brown; says Richard (1790) was taken prisoner at the Battle of Hampden, 3 Sep 1814, and went west in 1816/7; and gives Hope Holdershaw’s parents as John Holdershaw and Sarah Cole of Eastham, Hope living 18 Jul 1829 (Hancock Deeds 13:68).
