What it says

Prints the will of Samuel Rider Sr. of Yarmouth (20 Nov 1679), naming wife Anne and children Benjamin, John, Samuel (“five shillings”), Zachery, Joseph, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary (11:49-52), and shows that Sarah Bartlett’s husband was Samuel Rider Jr., not his father. Prints John Rider’s deposition of March 1690/1, “aged 26 yeares or there abouts” (11:186), and his 1718 sale of land “which I Bought of my Father Saml Rider Deceased.” Says Sgt. William Harlow’s English origin is unknown (12:193-194).
