Mary Bassett
Wife of Thomas Mulford, married at Eastham in 1690, and mother of Mary Mulford. Probably a daughter of Nathaniel Bassett and Dorcas Joyce; his will of 1709/10 left his daughter Mary Mulford her mother's chest, his "great Byble," and enough to buy each of her children a pocket Bible.

Notes
Her father’s will (1709/10) left her “my box that was and my Chest that was her Mothers and my great Chest that I gave to her mother,” his “great Byble” and “great Booke that is an exposition upon the epistle of Plimemon,” and enough to buy each of her children a pocket Bible.
Married Thomas Mulford at Eastham on 28 Oct 1690 (MD 8:93). In 1734 the Truro church baptized and admitted “Coffe negro servant to Elder Mulford Adult” (MD 10:150-151), an enslaved man in her husband’s household. She died on 29 Jan 1741/2 in her 76th year and is buried in the Old North Cemetery at Truro (MD 13:198).
WikiTree’s profile (Bassett-300) gives her Mayflower descents from Brewster, Cooke, Fuller, Howland, Tilley and Warren. Nothing supports them: neither of her parents has a known Mayflower line.
