What it says

Weakly sourced online profiles, used only where they cite a record not otherwise seen:

  • Capron-1: Banfield Capron’s will of 8 Apr 1747, naming “Mary Tiler”, citing Bristol Probate 13:258-261; his marriage to Sarah Daggett, citing the Attleborough town record.
  • Callender-63 and Callender-14: John Callender born at Boston in 1637 and died at Attleborough in 1706, and a daughter baptized at Chulmleigh, Devon, in 1661. The claims are inconsistent and sourced only to Ancestry trees.
  • Read-42: John Read’s will of 6 Jan 1679, naming sons Moses, Daniel and Israel, citing Bowen, Early Rehoboth 3:163.
  • Ide-14: Nicholas Ide’s second marriage, to Jane (Damon) Plimpton, 16 Mar 1679/80 at Medfield, citing Medfield VR p. 165; and a 1648 petition (unsourced) said to show him claiming a child’s share of Thomas Bliss’s estate.
  • Ginn-138 (largely unsourced, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ginn-138): “ix. Sally Genn; b. 20 Feb 1784 at Orrington, Penobscot, Maine,” among the children of Capt. James Ginn, with her death on 12 Mar 1834 “at age 50”, and no record cited. The profile, an imported tree, also has her intention at Bucksport, 25 Feb 1804: “she and Rowland Tyler were marr pub.”, with no specific source for the line.
