What it says

Duck Creek Cemetery, Wellfleet: “Daniel, husband of Martha, died 14 July, 1800, aged 86 years, 14 days” and his widow Martha, died 12 Dec 1802 aged 80 years 21 days (12:35); “Samuel, died 7 March, 1798, aged 80” (12:36); “Martha, wife of Ezekiel; daughter of Daniel Mayo; died 7 June, 1775, aged 48 years, 5 months” (11:228); “Mary, wife of Capt. Elisha [Bickford] died 19 May, 1793, at 6 o’clock p.m., in her 63d year” (10:183); “Elizabeth, wife of Jeremiah, died 14 June, 1761, ‘aged almost 60 years’” (12:35). No stone was found for Elisha Holbrook’s wife Sarah in the Holbrook list (11:227-229).

Chequesset Neck, Wellfleet: a broken Mayo stone reading “dy of YO …… DANIEL DIED 65th,” which the editors judged to be for the wife of a Daniel Mayo (10:20).
