What it says
Found on Ancestry, 9 Oct 2026. Read from the images:
- “Noel … Saml H optician h 206-107 1st av N” (image 516): apartment 206 at 107 1st Avenue North, as the directory writes apartments (“1-1258 Eastlake av” on the same page).
- “Morilan John R blksmth Pac Ry Co h 107 1st av N” (image 496); Ancestry indexes him as Morilan.
A year after the wedding of John R. Morilon, blacksmith, and Maude E. Noel, daughter of Sam’l H.
Noel (marriage-return-morilon-noel-1910), the groom and the bride’s father lived in the same
building, 107 1st Avenue North, in lower Queen Anne. Wives were not named in this directory, so
Maud is not listed; she was presumably with her husband. Samuel was also found in the 1913
directory, at a business address shared with a lawyer and a physician (not yet transcribed).
