- Tilford Reed’s household, with his son Harman, about 20, born in Iowa. Tilford gave 14 years’ residence, a round figure that understates his time, since Harman was born in Iowa about 1836.
- Benjamin Reed’s household, with 18 years’ residence.
- Wells Township: Spencer Collins, 14, mulatto, born “North Carolina” (an error; Missouri in 1850), in the Hendon household. Eliza Collins, 20, mulatto, born Kentucky, recorded separately.
Mary (Reed) Collins does not appear.
