What it says
The household of a Richard Ellingwood at Frankfort, Hancock County (then part of Massachusetts), taken 2 August 1790. The tree attaches it to the Richard born that February, who was six months old; the head of household must be his father, Richard Ellingwood (born 1767).
The image (downloaded 10 Oct 2026): “Richard Ellingwood 2 1 1” at the foot of page 77: two free white males of 16 and up, one under 16, and one female. That fits Richard, his infant son Richard (born that February), Hope, and one more man, perhaps his brother Ralph. On page 78 are “John Haldershaw 2 0 2” and “John Haldershaw jun 1 1 2”, Hope’s father and brother.
