Prints Rev. Thomas Forster’s will of 1638 (p. 485), Ensign Hopestill Foster’s administration (p. 505), the Billerica and Woburn Baptist presentments (p. 489) and Capt. Hopestill Foster’s 1670 letter to King Philip and Philip’s reply (pp. 494-495). Its “Early Foresters” chain (pp. 11-12) is legend.
