Shows that Prence’s last wife was Mary, widow of Thomas Howes, so that Sarah Prence’s last stepmother was also her husband Jeremiah Howes’s mother. Says the date of Mary (Collier) Prence’s death “is very uncertain, but it must have been previous to December 8, 1662” (MD 6:234).
