Henry Wheeler
Of Salisbury, where he was admitted to the church in 1694; probably a son of John Wheeler and Agnes Yeoman. He married Abigail Allen, probably about 1659, and was the father of the twins Ann and James (b. 1667); Ann married Thomas Riggs. He probably died before 1696, when his widow Abigail was of Boston.

Notes
Of Salisbury; a mariner, if he is the “seaman” of the 1684 deed below. Admitted to the Salisbury church Aug. 26, 1694 (Hoyt I:354-355). Hoyt names his widow as Abigail, “a wid., of Boston, 1696”; Mollie Pfeiffer’s “Widow Ann Wheeler of Boston” is wrong.
His father’s will of 1668 made him sole executor, to have “all the rest of my goods & chattells vndisposed of” (Essex Probate Records 2:201).
Hoyt: “Henry Wheeler of S. deeded house and land in S. to Richard Hubbard, 1684. Richard Hubbard of Boston deeded property in S. to Abigail Wheeler of Boston, wid. of Henry Wheeler” (the year of the second deed cannot be read in the OCR). Hubbard was married to Abigail’s sister Martha Allen (Hoyt I:31). In another note Hoyt says the “Henry Wheeler of S., ‘seaman,’” who deeded the house and land to Hubbard in Dec. 1684 was either this Henry or his son Henry (I:355).
Children with Abigail (Savage 4:497, from the Salisbury records): Henry 13 Apr 1659; Abigail 9 Mar 1661 (Hoyt: March 7, 1660-1); William 6 Sept 1663; Moses 24 June 1665; twins Ann and James 27 May 1667; Josiah 23 Apr 1669; Ruth 15 July 1671; Nathaniel 28 Mar 1675; Jeremiah 17 July 1677; Benjamin 15 Jan 1682; Mary 5 June 1685.
Mollie's typescript
Mollie says he was born in England, married Abigail Allen, was called a "mariner of Boston," and died before 1696.
Henry Wheeler. (2) who married Abigail Allen, was born in England, and is called "Mariner of Boston". ... so Henry must have died before that time.

Checked against the records
- DisprovenHenry Wheeler's widow was Widow Ann Wheeler of Boston, 1696
