Hannah Day
Probably the wife of Robert Lord, marshal of Ipswich, Massachusetts, who died in 1696, and the mother of James Lord, born in 1676/7. The compiled accounts make her a daughter of Robert Day of Ipswich. As the marshal's widow she had rights of commonage and horses on the Ipswich common in 1697; her birth, marriage and death are not known.

Robert Day of Ipswich, in the compiled accounts (Historic Ipswich lists her among the children of Robert and Hannah (Pengry) Day). Her husband's deposition of March 1664 speaks of horses that ran with "his father-in-law Day's" (Essex Quarterly Courts 3:122-123), a contemporary record that his wife was a Day.

Wife of Robert Lord, marshal of Ipswich (d. 1696), and mother of James Lord Sr. (b. 27 Jan 1676/7). Hammatt and Felt both give her as Hannah Day. As Marshal Lord’s widow she “possessed the rights of commonage, and had horses on the common, 1697” (Hammatt p. 209). Hammatt lists her sons as Robert (b. 1657), John, Thomas, Joseph (b. 1674), James (b. 27 Jan 1676) and Nathaniel (b. 1681).

Mollie's typescript
Mollie says she was the daughter of Robert Day of Ipswich, whose will of 1683 names her, and that as a widow she kept rights of commonage and horses on the common in 1697.
Robert Lord (2) married Hannah Day, the daughter of Robert Day ... leaving his widow, Hannah, who possessed the rights of commonage and had horses on the common in 1697.
