Emery Delos Allee
Probably a son of Albert E. Allee, and possibly of Lucinda Sargent, born in 1855, and so a brother of Sarah Edith (Allee) Hatten if she was Albert's daughter. As WikiTree has it, he told a newspaper on his 95th birthday in 1950 that he had been at Northfield, Minnesota, during the James-Younger raid of 1876 and guarded the outlaw Bill Stiles's body. He possibly died in 1951.

Notes
A son of Albert Allee, so a brother of Sarah Edith (Allee) Hatten if she was Albert’s daughter. In April 1950 the Duluth News Tribune ran “95 Today, He Recalls Raid by James Gang in Northfield”: he had been at Northfield, Minnesota, during the James-Younger raid of September 1876 and was deputised to guard the body of the outlaw Bill Stiles (WikiTree’s account; the article has not been seen here).
The Ancestry tree had him as Emery D. Allee, born in Ohio in 1840 to Walter and Sybil (Sawdy) Allee, a
life of 111 years; the 1840 birth belongs to no one known (research/decisions.md, 8 October 2026).
