Agnes Lenora Dwyer

Also Agnes Boudinot

Daughter of Cornelius Dwyer and Martha Tisdell and sister of Edwin C. Dwyer, born in Minnesota in 1892 and at Turlock, California, by 1910. She married Edgar John Boudinot, a career Navy machinist, at San Francisco in 1919 and was living there in the 1940s; Capt. Edgar J. Boudinot Jr., a Navy pilot, was probably her son. She died in 1976.

Notes

Daughter of Cornelius Dwyer and Martha Tisdell, at Norfolk Township in 1895 and at Turlock, 17, in 1910 (record); married Edgar John Boudinot at San Francisco in 1919. Very probably the “Mrs. John Boudinot” who arranged her father’s funeral in 1941 (record); Mrs. Agnes Boudinot in her brother Edwin’s obituary, 1969. Not in the Ancestry tree; from the Dwyer research file.

Her husband was a career Navy machinist, later a chief machinist (warrant officer); the family lived at 963 Hayes Street in 1931 and at 1255 33rd Avenue, San Francisco, in 1941-43. In 1943 the directory lists “Boudinot Edgar J (Agnes L) USN h1255 33d av,” with “Edgar J jr USN” and Edna M., a stenographer, at the same house. Edgar J. Boudinot Jr., born at Turlock about 1920, became a Navy pilot and later captain of USS New Orleans; that he was Agnes’s son is probable, from the directory, his Turlock birth and his daughter Jessica Lenore’s name (see Notable connections and research/dwyer/Dwyer_Tisdell_Connections.md). His California birth record would prove it.
