Her father's wife in 1638, named in the Dorchester burial of their daughter Sarah. Savage says Jonas came "perhaps with w. Frances"; no record names Susanna's mother.

Wife of Nicholas White of Taunton. Savage says Jonas Humphrey came from Wendover "with ch. James, Jonas, and prob. Eliz. and Susanna," so she was probably born at Wendover, Buckinghamshire (inference from Savage).

Open questions

  • Who was her mother? Her father's wife Frances is on record at Dorchester in 1638, and compiled trees give their marriage at Wendover in 1607, unverified. His second wife, Jane, widow of George Weeks, came later.
