Child of Capt. James and Ann (Riggs) Ginn. Born at or near Orrington, Maine, by the compiled lists; no birth record has been found. Mollie Pfeiffer types the name "Peleg"; Porter has a "Pelia?" m. Parker; Upton has "Polly Ginn, 1788-1842." Buck's "six sons and six daughters" works only if this child was a daughter, so "Peleg" is probably a misreading (inference).
