- Thomas Mulford's will names his daughter Elizabeth Mayo; her stone calls her wife of Jeremiah.
Named in the 1716 division of his father's estate. With his brother Daniel in the North Precinct of Eastham (Wellfleet) from 1724, when Daniel, Jeremiah, Samuel and Elisha Mayo entered their "denial" against the minister Josiah Oakes. Pratt lists both brothers among Wellfleet's early settlers. He married Mary Mulford's sister Elizabeth, one of the links that tie the 1715 administrator to Sarah Mayo's father.
