What it says
Requires his son Thomas to have his grandson Samuel taught “the Trad of a Cooper.” The inventory lists “3 guns a Case of Pistolls & holsters … one halbert a sword and belt,” “a paire of gold waightes,” “7 hives of bees,” “2 bibles & other bookes” and “Desparate Debts Due from the Indians.”
He acknowledged the will on 6 Oct 1665, and the inventory was taken on 18 Oct 1665, so he died between those dates at Yarmouth (MD 6:157-158). Elliot matched the “Troopers saddle” among the goods “mistris Mary Prence had before Marriage” to the saddle in this inventory (MD 6:230-235).
