What it says
Richard Blackmer, “late of Plymouth, Mariner,” died intestate. Josiah Sturtevant, physician, appointed administrator 29 Feb 1808. Inventory 15 Apr 1808: about 7 acres with a house and small barn, 4 acres of pasture, 28 acres of woodland ($600 real estate); personal estate $124.59. Insolvent. On 5 July 1810 Nancy bought back part of the homestead from the administrator for $40 (Plymouth deeds 114:28; FamilySearch 3:1:3QS7-89Z7-2ZJK). In 1858 she sold a lot “being the same conveyed to me by Josiah Sturtevant Administrator on the estate of my former husband Richard Blackmer” (3:1:3QS7-89Z7-RXVT).
