What it says
The Brunswick list includes William Flyn, 60, a “reduced farmer” of Mallow, Co. Cork, with John, 24, Daniel, 20, Mary, 16, Johanna, 13, and Nancy, 11. The Peterborough museum’s list has “FLYN, William | Died in Emily 12 Sept./26.” The same ship carried an unrelated party, Cornelius Flyn, 43, who settled in Douro. No Ann Murray is on the Robinson lists.
Other copies: kennytree.com (http://old.kennytree.com/links/peter_robinson.htm) and the typed “List of Irish immigrants who came in the Peter Robinson immigration scheme of 1825” (https://archive.org/details/localhistory_2eg). “Reduced farmer” and Mallow are from the IGP and IrelandXO transcriptions; the IGP page is no longer online.
From the research files (research/dwyer/Dwyer_Master_Research.md and
research/dwyer/Flynns_of_Emily_Township.md, October 2026): the John of this list is very probably
John Flynn, husband of Ann Murray and father of James Murray Flynn. William, John and Daniel were
each located on a Robinson half-lot in Emily on 24 Nov 1825, William and John on the two halves of
lot 11, concession 10 (land index), and in 1846
John Flynn of Emily took over William’s half-lot through the Heir and Devisee Commission.
