“DR. MARVIN CHAPIN IS DEAD … PASSED AWAY AT DAUGHTER’S LAKE PARK HOME … Dr. Marvin Chapin of Lake
Park, near Lake Forest, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Browne.” He was “a
prominent Presbyterian,” had lived at Dixon, was 86, and died of pneumonia; he was brought to Dixon
for burial. His sons were Dr. Frank Chapin of New York and Robert Chapin of Seattle, and “Mrs. Chapin
