James Pattullo, born in Scotland about 1808, was the eldest son of Alexander Pattullo and Jean Watson (baptised 1807, as WikiTree has the index), and so a brother of Halkett Pattullo. The record names his parents as Alexander Pattullo and a Watson, independently of Halkett’s records. It gives his mother’s given name as Mary [?], not Jean or Jane as the baptisms and her gravestone have it: an informant’s slip at the age of 71, or a misreading here. He farmed at “Bonnie Braes,” Caledon, before Garafraxa (Trimble, quoted on WikiTree).
