• #50: the will of James Reed, Deed Book J, p. 522. The two sons are Elisha and John.
• #52: Abner Reed and his wife Catharine to Elisha Reed, 30 acres, part of the NW quarter of Section 17, T11N R1E, for $300 (Deed Book L, p. 139). The dates in the abstract need checking against the deed book.

The only reading of the will seen that is independent of JoEllen Reed’s papers.
