Mary Woodford
Probably a daughter of Thomas Woodford of Hartford, she married Isaac Sheldon in 1653 and about 1655 moved with him and her father to the new settlement at Northampton, Massachusetts, where she bore thirteen children, among them twin daughters in 1663. She died at Northampton in 1684. Probably the mother of Joseph Sheldon of Suffield and great-grandmother of Anna (Hitchcock) Chapin.
