Notes
George Panian’s mother. Baptized at Schöpfenlag (Sodevci) no. 12, the daughter of a ⅜-holder; she married Georg Panian of Altenmarkt 29 at 21, on 12 February 1849, with her father’s consent, and was widowed in 1856. The 1922 biography of her son says he was “reared by his mother and his step-father, Michael Perse” (source). That marriage, and her death in 1870, are not yet found in the registers.
