Ann Wright
Wife of Nicholas Wright of Oyster Bay, Long Island, who made her sole executor of his will in 1674, and very probably the mother of Rebecca (Wright) Frost. She was living as his widow when letters on the will were granted to her in January 1682/3. Her maiden name is unknown, and nothing shows whether she was Nicholas's first wife.

Notes
Wife of Nicholas Wright of Oyster Bay, and very probably the mother of Rebecca (Wright) Frost. Her maiden name is unknown.
She is named in her husband’s will of 10 April 1674: “I make my Loving wife, Ann Wright, sole Executor of my movables, both within my house and without, both of kine, horse-flesh, and swine, together with my house and Lands which I now Possess, During her life, and to have the full Disposing of any Part or Parcell of it as she shall see cause for her use and reliefe whilst she doth live.” Letters were granted to “Ann Wright, the widow, Jany. 15, 1682” (source, p. 44). Her brother-in-law Anthony Wright’s will of 1673 leaves “unto his wife, Ann Wright … five shillings” (p. 37).
That she was Rebecca’s mother rests on there being no other known wife of Nicholas; nothing shows that the Ann of 1674 was already his wife when Rebecca was born in the 1640s.
Not “Ann (Beaupre).” The Frost Genealogy calls Rebecca “daughter of Nicholas and Ann (Beaupre) Wright” (source, p. 19). The name comes from Latting’s speculative Norfolk pedigree, in which a sixteenth-century Nicholas Wright married “Anne Beaupre” (Latting, p. 35). It is disproven as a name for this Ann.
