  • Inveresk-with-Musselburgh for his birth fits his parents' marriage there in 1806 and his baptism in Midlothian (FamilySearch record indexes for the families of the Ellingwood wives, as cited on WikiTree).
  • "d. 1855/65": no gravestone of his own is pictured. His widow's stone at Woodstock says he "died in Blenheim, this county, June 7, 1855, and is buried there" (Gravestone of Jane Robson, widow of Halket Pattullo, Woodstock Presbyterian Cemetery), and the printed genealogy has 1855. The header's 1865, which WikiTree also has, and Bourdon's "1810-65" show nothing behind them.
  • His brothers and sisters, with dates, from the printed genealogy: James (23 Jun 1807 - 10 Jun 1890), Jane (b. 9 Feb 1812), Margaret (23 Dec 1813 - 1894) and Thomas (b. 8 Apr 1817).
  • Ten children agrees with Trimble's "five daughters and five sons"; Bourdon says nine.
  • James Durie Pattullo, born 1855, would be an eleventh child, born when Jane was about 46. Not confirmed: nothing else here names him as Halkett's son, and he may belong to another branch.
